Papers: of John Dos Passos, 1916-1966, bulk 1916-1922, 1965-1966 [manuscript].

The collection consists of letters and postcards to Arthur K. McComb of Marlboro and Boston, Massachusetts. In two early postcards and a telegram Dos Passos mentions McComb's trip to Cuba, his own reading, writing, a letter from Hardinge Scholle, and an essay for the "New Republic," and asks McComb to meet him in Spain and send invitations to Dudley Poore and the Sweeneys. In postcards and letters, 1965-1966, Dos Passos reminisces about a 1919 Spanish trip, comments on McComb's memoirs and his own, inquires about his health, seeks his aid in a favor for Judge Jacob M. Moses and his wife, mentions Dudley Poore and writes very briefly from a Brazilian journey.
